1986, an obsessed fan of Pat Krenwinkel‘ came forward and gave this
interview to The Globe. He claimed he and Pat had been engaged. He claimed
she dried his bank account and tol him intimate details about the crimes.

with the Manson Family for several monmths in the early days. She was only

1968 – Angry Mother Triggers County
Marijuana Raid, Ukiah
On
June 24, 1968, Patricia Krenwinkel, Susan Atkins, Mary Brunner and several
others were arrested in Ukiah for giving LSD to a minor. This was almost
two years prior to the murders.

The
infamous story, Susan Atkins sold to the newspapers. A fantastic paperback
edition was published a few weeks later titled 'The Killing of Sharon

blazing headlines on Dec 2, 1969. This is the first time the world learned
the identities of the Tate-LaBianca killers.
1981 – Parole Date Set For Grogan
A
small story that appeared in the Los Angeles newspapers after Grogan's 1981
parole hearing. His parole date was set in 1985.
1969 – Search For Missing Stunt Man
Pressed
Police
learned early in the investigation that the Family was responsible for the
disappearance of Shorty Shae. His body was found seven years later.
1976 – Two Devotees of Manson Guilty of Death
Threats
Sandra
Good and Susan Murphy, wearing nun habits, were found guilty of threatening
corporate officials on March 17, 1976, in Sacramento. It took the jury a
little over an hour to reach a decision.
2003 – Tanya 'Kasabian' Files Law Suit
Against Publisher
The
daughter of Linda Kasabian sued the publisher of 'Sharon Tate and the
Manson Murders' claiming the author had mistaken her with her sister. Linda
Kasabian was arrested with her daughter on drug and weapons charges. The
story was true but it was another daughter, not Tanya.
1979 – A Murderous Family, 10
Years After
The
10th anniversary article on the case written by veteran LA Times
reporter Bill Farr, who attended the trials. Farr looks up all the Family
members and reports on their whereabouts and present (1979) conditions.

1988 – Patricia
Krenwinkel Denied Parole, 7th Time
Doris Tate was not
allowed to attend the actual hearing but she showed up and held a press conference at the prison
entrance before the hearing.
1993 – Atkins Denied Parole, Says She
Lied About Murders
This was the first
hearing that Patti Tate attended after her mothers death in 1992. You can

1976 –Kasabian Arrested and Charged In
Rioting
This is a 1976 article on
her arrest. It is surprising that after she escaped from prosecution and
from doing life in prison that she continued to make bad choices. She has
been in a lot of trouble since then.
1977 – Kasabian Brought To LA, Due In
Court
Linda Kasabian was
arrested in Florida after a long search. She was subpoenaed to testify in
the re-trial of Leslie Van Houten.

Van Houten Murder Trial
Linda Kasabian finishes
her slaying account. Reporters said her testimony this time was delivered
in dull monotone, in stark contrast to her tearful testimony at the first
trial in 1970.
