for that. Charles Manson is now 74 years old and the California
Department of Corrections released that new photograph of him appearing
old and in bad health. Susan Atkins will come up for parole on May 28 and
has gained support from politicians and prosecutors. Vincent Bugliosi is
one of them and will be urging the
California Board of Parole Hearings to release her on compassionate
grounds. Leslie Van Houten will also have a new
hearing later this summer.
Liz Smith, reporting on behalf
of Variety is hearing through the grapewine
that Oliver Stone wants to adopt Helter Skelter
for the big screen. He is currently in discussions with Vincent
Bugliosi and others associated with the case. Stone has been wanting to take on the Manson project for
years. ..
