daughter's killers. It was the 1985 hearing for Tex Watson. This was his

Anthony DiMaria 2007 Parole
Letter
This is a letter than Anthony DiMaria wrote to the parole
board for Leslie's August 31, 2007, hearing. Lou Smaldino was going to read
the letter to the board but was stopped by Christie Webb when she objected
and the objection was sustained. The letter was never read into the record
but Mr. Smaldino did give it to the commissioners to read during
deliberations.
This is a contribution to the website and has never been
published anywhere before.

the case. This was supposed to be his final words of wisdom. However, his
obsession brought him back a few months later. VERY Interesting.

This warrant was issued after it became clear that Davis was
involved in the Hinman and Shae murders. He was in hiding for several
months before he turned himself in with Nancy Pitman in December 1970.

This letter, written by Sharon Tate's father was read by
Debra Tate at Susan Atkins Dec, 2000 parole hearing. Col. Paul Tate was not
able to attend because of his health. The letter was very powerful. Paul
Tate died recently of heart complications.

Alice LaBianca was the first wife of Leno LaBianca. She wrote
this letter to in 1998 for the parole hearing for Leslie Van Houten. It's
ironic that the Board gave Van Houten a one year denial. She wrote a book
in 1990 titled "No More Tomorrows." ISBN 0-9626453-0-3.

Susan Atkins sent this letter to Ronnie Howard after she had
learned that Howard was the informer. The letter was used as evidence at
the trial to prove Atkins' guilt.

had publicly announced that Watson had never "said he's sorry."

Barriers at CIW. The program was designed to help women with parole dates
to set goal and help them through a successful re-entry.
